Rose gold and morganite sit in almost the same register, a soft peach pink against a soft warm metal, and the diamonds are what draw the line between them. The stone is cut as a pear and hung point up, held in four rose gold claws, with a close pave halo following the teardrop outline the whole way around. Above the shoulder the design opens into a small scrolled trefoil of diamonds before narrowing into a ribbed, stone set bail. Fifty diamonds are spread across those three elements.
At 34 by 16 millimeters the drop is long for its width, and the pear reads clearly as a teardrop from across a room. On the 16 inch necklace the narrow point sits uppermost and the full width of the stone swings at the bottom.
