A round morganite sits at the middle of an open flower: five looping petals of pavé diamonds that cross over one another around the stone and leave gaps between them rather than closing into a solid halo. Worked in 14K rose gold, the petal outlines carry the same warmth as the peach pink center, so the stud reads as one soft color with a bright line drawn through it.
At 10 by 9 millimeters it sits flat to the lobe, and because the diamond work spreads well past the morganite the earring reads noticeably larger in the ear than the center stone alone would.
