Each stud is built on a pear-cut morganite worn point up, ringed by a close halo of small round diamonds that follows the teardrop outline the whole way around, tip included. At 12 by 11 millimeters the pair covers a fair share of the lobe and reads as a shape rather than a dot.
The halo comes across as bright and cold against the stone, which sharpens the pink instead of softening it, and puts the light exactly at the outer edge where the eye lands first. They sit flush and face forward rather than tipping outward.
