All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
This is a hinged bangle rather than a flexible line, and the stones are massed across the top third of it in a scattered cluster: pear, oval, round, trillion and marquise cuts packed together at varying heights so the surface is deliberately uneven. Purple takes the most room, in the largest pears and ovals, with golden citrine, green peridot, pink red rhodolite garnet and small violet blue rounds worked in between. Several pale sky blue stones sit in the mix as well, lighter and cooler than anything else on the piece.
The sides and underside are pierced with an openwork pattern of ovals and lozenges in rhodium plated sterling silver, which keeps the weight sensible under all that stone and lets light through the frame from below. The bangle opens on a hinge and closes with a box clasp and a fold over safety catch at 7.5 inches.
