All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Amethyst, blue topaz, citrine, garnet and peridot repeat in a fixed sequence around each hoop, ovals set east to west in shared yellow gold claws so the color changes every few millimeters as the earring turns. The stones carry on around the inner face as well as the outer, which keeps the sequence legible from behind the ear as well as in front of it.
Thirty stones over 5.43 carats keeps each one small, and the gold between them reads as a thin bright frame rather than as a background. At 29 millimeters across and 4 wide the hoop is narrow enough that the colors run in a single line instead of massing into a band.
