The colors are laid out in blocks, not shuffled. A long stretch of white sapphire runs through the middle of the bracelet, pink gathers toward one end and blue toward the other, so the piece travels from warm to bright to cool as it wraps the wrist instead of repeating a three color rotation stone by stone.
Every sapphire is a square step cut, channel set in two parallel rows divided by a slim gold rail, with short cross bars breaking the rows into pairs. The result is a flat banded face roughly twice the width of a single line, and because the square tables sit almost flush the light comes back in broad panels rather than points. One hundred thirty six stones come to 9.52 carats altogether, held in 14K yellow gold plated silver across 7.5 inches and closed by a box clasp with a folding safety catch.
