Seven oval sapphires fill the cluster head, arranged in three vertical pairs around a single pink centre stone: green at top and bottom, orange down one side, yellow down the other. The full spread of colour sits inside an oval openwork gallery edged with a beaded sterling silver frame, so light reaches the stones from beneath as well as above. The head reads about as wide as the shoulders of the tapered shank, which keeps a cluster this busy in proportion on the hand.
