Three channels run across the face of this wide gold plated band, and each one holds seven square cut sapphires alternating with white. The top channel pairs yellow with white, the middle orange with white, the bottom a soft green with white, so the ring reads as three bands of colour stacked one above another rather than as a single mixed cluster.
Twenty one stones in all, 1.60 carats total, each squared off and set flush inside its channel with the gold walls holding the edges. The shank is heavy and the shoulders wide, which gives the colour a solid ground to sit on. Size 8.
