All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
A pale blue oval sits at the hub of this pinwheel, and the tourmalines fan out from it as pear cuts in pink, olive green, and pale yellow, alternating with small round stones in orange and hot pink. There are well over a dozen colored stones in the head, not the handful the carat breakdown suggests, and they are laid out on the diagonal so the whole face looks like it is turning. A circular openwork frame set with small white stones closes the design and gives the head its clean round edge.
That white outer ring is what holds the composition together; without it the colors would scatter. The head is round, about as wide across as the finger, and stands high enough to read from the other side of a table. Ring size 7.5 US.
