Forty eight stones are set in a staggered two row layout rather than a single file. Large cushion cut blue topaz rides the upper line, and ovals of amethyst, lemon quartz and garnet with small round citrine fill in below and between them, so the color changes position link by link and the band reads wider than a plain tennis line.
Every stone sits in its own four prong basket, and the rhodium plating keeps the framework bright and neutral so the blue, purple, yellow, red and gold carry the piece. Blue topaz supplies 32.68 of the 50.36 total carats, which is why pale blue dominates the run. A concealed box clasp with a hinged safety catch closes the bracelet at the wrist.
