All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The face is a round dome carrying several separate flower heads rather than one. Marquise cut amethyst forms a bloom at the lower left with a golden citrine at its heart, pink rhodolite makes a second flower to the right, dark red garnet petals open below, and citrine gathers into a spray across the top. Round peridot and small white topaz fill the ground between them, and a line of white stones runs the full circumference of the disc.
Six species share the space, purple through yellow, pink, red, green and white, and because the flowers sit at slightly different heights on the dome the colors come forward in turn as the hand moves. Rhodium plated silver holds all of it, cut away as openwork at the edge so the metal is more frame than field.
