Pear cut sapphires lie on their sides down the length of this bracelet, every one turned the same way so the points all run in a single direction and the line reads as movement rather than plain repetition. Between each pair sits a small upright cluster of three round diamonds, filling the gap where one pear narrows and the next widens, and holding the spacing even the whole way around.
The sapphires are dark, close to ink where the light falls off and opening to a clear blue across the table, and it is the 4.98 carats of them that gives the bracelet its weight on the wrist. The 0.38 carats of diamond is used sparingly and structurally, three stones at a time, so nothing dilutes the blue. It closes with a box clasp and a folding safety catch.
