All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The citrine is oval and set east to west, its long axis running along the band rather than up the finger, which makes 4.50 carats read wider than the number suggests. Two broad gold prongs grip it at either end. Everything immediately around the stone is white metal, worked in a fine beaded border that steps out in two tiers to a domed shoulder.
That contrast is the point of the design. Warm gold at the prongs and the shank, cool white through the collar, so the golden yellow of the quartz gets both an echo and a foil at once. The diamonds are small and set flush into the white metal beside the prongs, reading as points of light rather than a border.
