One round emerald to an earring, each held in four slim claws and hung from a hinged lever back hoop so the stone swings free below the ear. The green is saturated and leans slightly blue, and the broad flat table on each stone holds that color steady across the face instead of breaking it up into small flashes.
The drop measures 25 millimeters top to bottom and only 6 across, a narrow line that puts the color at the lobe with almost no metal around it. Sterling silver stays cool and quiet against the green. 0.90 carats for the pair.
