An emerald cut green emerald sits bezel set at the middle of each earring, 0.54 carats across the pair, enclosed by white metal scrollwork that curls away from the bezel in matched volutes. Around that runs an oval border of small round diamonds totaling 0.12 carats, edged in fine beading, and four pear shaped accents in yellow metal mark the compass points of the oval.
The two colors of metal carry the design. Those yellow points interrupt the ring of white and pull the eye around the outline, while the green stays contained at the center. At 15 by 14 millimeters each earring is close to circular and covers the lobe completely, reading as an ornate medallion rather than a plain stud.
