Each drop is a single oval emerald enclosed by a complete halo of small round white topaz, not a bare stone with an accent set beside it. The green is deep and reads soft rather than glassy, taking light more gently than the topaz that rings it, so the halo does the flashing while the center holds steady.
Sterling silver carries the halo and links it to a hinged leverback by a short ring, so the drop hangs 28 by 8 millimeters below the lobe and turns freely as it swings. Against cool silver the green sits deeper than the same stone would in yellow metal.
