All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Six oval garnets make the petals of each flower, set close enough that their edges nearly touch, with a tight cluster of white topaz filling the center. The garnet is a dark wine red that only opens up when light hits it directly; in shade it reads almost black against the white metal.
That contrast is what the setting is built around. 18K white gold plated sterling silver frames every stone in its own claw, and the small white topazes at the middle of each flower give the eye a bright center to start from. Seventeen and a half millimeters across, on posts with friction backs.
