This is an emerald cut, a step cut rectangle held at its four corners, and the green in it runs deep and toward blue rather than grassy. Long flat facets of that kind return broad panels of light instead of scatter, and the corner claws leave the whole outline of the stone clear.
Small diamonds run in a row down each shoulder, edged with fine beading, drawing two bright lines up toward the corners of the setting. In 14K white gold, size 7 US, with 1.74 carats in the center against 0.14 carats at the sides.
