The tourmaline is a cushion cut in dark forest green, deep enough that the facets read as pale lines drawn across a solid body of color rather than as separate flashes. A full halo of small round diamonds follows the cushion outline, giving the head a squared face that is wider than the stone.
The shank is plain white gold, tapering out from the setting with an open gallery underneath, so the ring still sits close to the finger. There are 2.44 carats of tourmaline to 0.16 carats of diamonds, in a size 7.
