All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Each panel is a grid rather than a cluster. Twenty square cut stones sit in five rows of four, one species to a row: dark red garnet across the top, then peridot green, then pale blue topaz, then citrine gold, then amethyst violet along the bottom edge. Read downward, each earring runs through the full spread of color in order, and the two panels are matched row for row.
A beaded frame in white metal borders the rectangle on all four sides, and the panel hangs from a plain French wire. At 37 by 14 millimeters the stones stay large enough to be read individually at close range while the whole block registers as a band of color from further off. Together the five species come to 4.22 carats across the pair.
