A round aquamarine carved with a fluted floral motif fills the middle of this cocktail ring, its pale blue reading soft and sculptural against everything faceted around it. Twelve pear cut stones radiate outward with their points turned in, cycling through purple amethyst, blue kyanite, golden citrine and red garnet so no two neighbors repeat a color.
A scalloped border of small white stones outlines every petal and ties the medallion together over an open white metal gallery, which keeps the weight down where it sits against the finger. It is a big ring: the head covers most of the width of the finger and stands well off it, 16 carats of colored stone in total with the aquamarine alone accounting for 7.34.
