A round opal cabochon holds the middle inside a squared pavé frame, and from there the ring opens out into petals: pear cut blue kyanites in pairs at the four compass points, pear cut green tourmalines at the diagonals, pink tourmaline pears pressed in close to the center, and small round orange garnets filling every gap left between them.
Six species share one face and none of them muddies the next, the color stepping from blue through green to pink and orange around the circle. The opal answers all of it at once, flashing green and rose as the hand turns. 7.40 carats total in sterling silver, size 7.
