Five princess cut sapphires run down the outer face of each half hoop, channel set flush in a straight line: red at the top, then blue, orange, green and yellow. Ten square stones across the pair, five colors of one species, with the lower sweep of each hoop left as plain polished silver.
The form is a J hoop on a post rather than a closed circle, 16 by 4 millimeters, so it curls under the lobe and presents the color band edge on from the front.
