Blue, green, orange, pink, and yellow sapphires are set in no fixed order along these hoops, shared prong on the outer face and then again on the inner, so the color carries around the back of the circle where a hoop usually goes plain. The scatter looks deliberate: adjacent stones seldom share a color, and from a step away the line reads as fine confetti rather than as a rainbow in sequence.
At 53 millimeters across and only 3 wide, the hoop is large in diameter but very slight in section, with sterling silver confined to the claws and a thin band behind them. That diameter gives the mixed colors room to separate instead of blurring into one tone.
