An oval pink sapphire fills each of these studs, held on four claws with a complete halo of small round diamonds worked tight around the girdle. The halo frames without widening the earring much past the stone itself, which holds the whole thing to 9 by 7 millimeters.
White gold throughout means nothing warms the pink, so the rose color reads clean and slightly cool against the metal. At the lobe the halo catches light first and the sapphire follows.
