Two rounded bands cross over one another on this ring, and three round garnets are set into the trough where they meet, running as one straight line laid at an angle across the top of the finger. The middle stone is a shade larger than the two flanking it, enough to give the row a center without breaking its rhythm.
The garnets read deep and warm and the cool rhodium plated silver pushes that red forward. Everything else is smooth: the two bands are polished plain, unadorned, and taper away toward the back of the shank. Built on a size 13, it is a generous ring carrying three small stones, and the crossover shape does most of the work.
