Oval garnets run the full circuit of this bracelet in an unbroken line, each stone held east to west in four claws on its own short link, so the row bends easily and follows the curve of the wrist without gapping open at the sides. Between one setting and the next the links show as small warm metal bridges, which gives the line a rhythm rather than a solid wall of red.
Dark red against yellow toned metal is a warm on warm pairing, and the plating pushes the garnet toward its brown red end rather than cooling it. Seven and a quarter inches long, so it settles just past the wrist bone.
