All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
An oval ruby sits low inside an open teardrop frame of 14K white gold, and the inner curve of that frame is lined with a run of small round diamonds that follows the shape all the way around the stone. A single larger round brilliant is set above, at the point where the drop joins the top.
That top is a smooth tapered bar rather than a thin wire, which gives the 23 millimeter drop a straight hang and a little visual weight at the ear. The openwork under the ruby keeps the piece light, and the white metal pushes the red forward.
