These are hinged huggie hoops, and the front face of each one carries a curved row of three round rubies, the middle stone the largest of the three, every one held in its own set of silver prongs. Trios of small white topaz close the row off at the top and at the bottom, so light runs the full length of the arc.
At 17 by 6 millimeters the hoop stays tight to the lobe instead of swinging, and the hinged bar back folds flat behind it. Sterling silver keeps the prong work bright and white against the red.
