Round rubies run the whole front of each hoop in a single row, shared claws standing between them so the stones sit shoulder to shoulder and the line reads continuous. The color holds an even bright red from the top of the arc to the bottom rather than deepening at any one stone.
The back half of the hoop is left as plain polished silver and tapers into a hinged snap closure at the top. At 24 millimeters across, the circle stays tight to the ear, and all 2.78 carats sit on the face where they are actually seen.
