All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The stones are pear cut, each held by three prongs, one at the point and two along the base, so almost nothing interrupts the face of the ruby. Set at 8 x 6 mm they cover a fair stretch of the lobe, and the tapered outline gives the pair a direction that a round stud does not have; worn point up they lift, worn point down they read as small drops.
The red is dense and slightly blue in its undertone, and the white gold holds that cooler note rather than pulling it warm. Plain posts and grooved friction backs finish them.
