One unbroken row of round Swiss blue topaz runs the entire circumference of each hoop, shared claws holding one stone hard against the next with almost no metal showing between them. Because the row carries all the way around instead of stopping at the back, the hoops read the same clear pale blue from the front and from behind, which is what a hoop this size needs in order to work in profile.
Forty four millimeters across on a band only 2.5 millimeters wide, so the circle stays light and open at the ear. One hundred stones, 3.60 carats, in rhodium plated silver.
