Three oval tanzanites hang in a line down each earring: the first bezel set at the lobe, the other two suspended below it on fine cable chain, so the drop reads as three separate points of violet blue with bare silver strung between them.
Because the lower stones hang on chain rather than sitting on a rigid bar, they turn on their own as you move, and tanzanite trading blue for violet is easy to follow when three stones are catching light at slightly different angles. The full length runs 47 millimeters against a width of only 6, so the pair falls well below the lobe as a thin vertical line.
