Each drop is an oval tanzanite held in a plain gold bezel, and around that bezel runs a wide halo of small white topaz set in white metal, finished with a fine milgrain line along both its inner and outer rims. The piece is deliberately two toned, gold at the center and at the lever back, white around the outside.
The tanzanite is cut with a low flat crown, so its violet arrives as a broad even wash rather than as scattered points. At 38 by 15 millimeters this is a full length drop, and the halo widens the oval face beyond what the bezel alone would give.
