Marquise cut tanzanites are laid in two overlapping rows along the outer curve of each hoop, their points angled so the run reads as a laurel leaf rather than a plain line of stones. The violet blue travels along the arc as the hoop turns, and the tips of the marquises break the silhouette into small peaks.
These are hinged huggies at 26 by 8 millimeters, closing with a bar back that folds flat behind the lobe. The silver prongs are set narrow between the stones, so nearly the whole visible curve is tanzanite.
