An oval tanzanite of 2.94 carats sits at the center of a full halo of small round diamonds, the violet-blue of the stone reading against bright white metal on every side. Tanzanite shows blue in one light and violet in another, and the cool 14K white gold keeps that shift intact rather than warming it.
The pendant measures 22 by 13 millimeters and hangs from a fine cable chain, resting at the base of the throat where the halo picks up light around the edge of the frame.
