The trillion cut tanzanite in each of these is large enough to carry the piece by itself, and the diamond halo around it follows the triangle instead of rounding it off, so the finished outline stays three sided. White gold prongs take the stone at its corners while the halo tucks in tight along each straight edge.
Twelve millimeters on a side is wide for a stud, and 3.46 carats of tanzanite with 0.20 carats of diamonds around it puts real presence at the lobe. Cool metal lets the violet and the blue in the center trade places as the light changes.
