An oval yellow sapphire, warm and saturated rather than pale, sits inside a complete halo of small round diamonds, with further diamonds set in small triangular blocks where the shoulders meet the head. The halo is what carries the width of the ring; the sapphire itself is a compact 1.58 carats.
Yellow gold beneath and around it keeps the whole ring in one warm register, so the stone reads as a deeper concentration of the metal rather than a contrast to it. Sized 7 US, with 0.14 carats of diamonds divided between the halo and the shoulders.
