Ten square cut orange sapphires run end to end in a single channel across the top of this band, set flush and touching so the orange reads as one continuous bar rather than as separate stones. Square cuts do this in a way rounds cannot; there is no metal gap between them. The channel is warm toned and it is bordered above and below by fine milgrain beading in bright metal, two rows of tiny raised beads that pin the orange between two cool lines and make it look hotter than it is.
