The frame is doubled. A close pave halo follows the oval outline of the aquamarine, and beyond it a second pave line rises into a pointed navette shape with open air held between the two, so the pendant reads as a bright kite standing off from the stone rather than a single ring of light. Sixty two diamonds cover both frames at 0.31 carats.
The aquamarine runs 3.55 carats, a pale sea blue that stays even from table to girdle and gives back light in wide slow flashes instead of quick sparkle. Four white gold claws hold it at the quarters and nothing crosses the face. The pendant measures 29 by 15.5 millimeters, hangs from a hinged bail, and is shown on a fine cable chain that leaves the setting as the only weight at the neck.
