The center of this ring is an emerald cut Paraiba quartz of 15.25 carats, held in a plain yellow gold bezel that runs unbroken around its clipped corners. Step cut facets give the stone long flat planes instead of scatter, so the blue green color reads as one continuous sheet from the table down to the base rather than breaking into small flashes.
Two emerald cut London blue topaz flank it, set east west in matching bezels at the shoulders, deeper and grayer in tone so the center stone reads brighter beside them. The gallery beneath the head is pierced with scrolled openwork and the 18K yellow gold plated shank thickens as it climbs into it. Three stones, 17.65 carats between them, on a size 7 finger.
