An oval peach moonstone cabochon of 6.48 carats is bezel set flush into the face of a heavy signet form band, its domed top sitting only slightly above the surrounding sterling silver. Three small white topaz, 0.08 carats together, are set in a triangle at each shoulder where the band steps down.
The cabochon cut suits moonstone, since a smooth dome shows the internal sheen better than facets would. This is a broad, squared, substantial ring rather than a delicate one, and the flush setting means nothing catches. Ring size 9 US.
