A pear cut amethyst of over four carats leads this cocktail ring in deep violet, set among a mix of other stones that widen its range of color. Rhodolite garnet adds raspberry, lemon quartz a pale yellow, and blue and white topaz a cool sparkle, all held in rhodium plated sterling silver. The result is a full, layered setting built for the hand, and it was made only once.
