A pear cut amethyst of 4.40 carats stands point up at the center, deep violet through the shoulders and lighter toward the tip. What surrounds it is deliberately uneven: four marquise lemon quartz fan out on both sides in pale yellow, a marquise rhodolite garnet sits low on the left in raspberry, and a marquise blue topaz answers it low on the right. Two small round orange stones tuck in against the amethyst, one to each side.
Rhodium plated sterling silver holds all of it, with rows of small white topaz running along the shoulders before the band drops to a plain, comfortable shank. Because the face is asymmetric, the color keeps changing as the hand turns. Size 7.
