All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Two hearts make up each earring: a small solid silver heart at the top that carries the fitting, and below it a larger open heart drawn in a double line of silver. A round peridot sits inside that open frame on four prongs, placed slightly low so it never fills the shape.
Leaving the heart open is what makes the design work. The spring green of the peridot has bright metal behind it on one side and clear space on the other, so the color stays lively across the whole 22 by 14 millimeter drop rather than sitting on a solid backing.
