Peridot is one of the few stones that reads yellow green rather than green with a yellow cast, and set directly against gold plating as it is here the two warm tones run into each other. Four round stones, 0.26 carats in total, curve along the front of an 18 inch chain, with a small open heart in outline closing the arc at one end. The scale is deliberately small, meant to be worn continuously rather than saved for occasions.
