Five small peridots run in a line across the flat top of this band, set close enough together that the row reads as one continuous bar of green rather than as separate stones. Each is an oval, matched to its neighbors in size and color, and the five of them together account for the 0.84 carats. The silver beneath is wide and squared at the edges, a raised plate that gives the row a solid ledge to sit on.
Sterling silver stays cool and bright behind the green and keeps the color from warming. The top surface sits low and flush across the finger with nothing standing above it. Ring size 7 US.
