Three pink amethysts hang in a line down each earring, and every one of them carries its own halo of small white stones. A round at the top holds the post, a smaller round links below it, and the drop ends in a large pear set point up inside a halo that traces the teardrop to its tip. The two hinges between them let the pear swing on its own.
The rose color deepens as the stones grow, palest in the top round and fullest in the pear. Rhodium plated silver keeps the frames bright and narrow so the halos read as outlines rather than mass, across a 29 millimeter drop.
