Two triangular cut pink amethysts meet point to point at the middle of each earring, arranged like the two halves of a bow, their pale lilac pink spread across wide flat facets. Openwork silver loops twist away above and below the stones, and small round white topaz are set into the flattened face of each loop.
Four amethysts across the pair, 3.98 carats of them, hung from plain shepherd hooks. At 28 by 15 millimeters the drops read nearly as wide as they are long.
