An oval pink topaz of 2.10 carats holds the middle in a bright, clean pink, and a close frame of beaded white metal runs around it, lifting the stone clear of everything outside. Beyond that frame sixteen oval rhodolite garnets radiate outward like petals, laid point in so the face reads as one opened blossom.
The two pinks sit a step apart: the topaz light and transparent, the garnets darker and pulled toward raspberry. Rhodium plated sterling silver keeps both cool. The head is broad and stands well above a plain tapered band at size 7.
