The front of this necklace is built as a pair of branches rather than a pendant. Fine sterling silver stems, beaded along their edges, fork out from a point at the base of the V and carry sixteen round pink topaz at their tips and junctions, graduated so the largest sit at the outer ends and the smallest fill the gaps between.
The two sides mirror each other but the placement within each branch is irregular, so the effect is scattered rather than row work, and because the stems are thin the stones appear to float against the skin. 7.88 carats across the sixteen, on an 18 inch rolo chain.
